Jeff Moore was born and raised right here in Everett. He was raised by parents committed to and involved in small business ownership, community service, and civic engagement. These beliefs have guided Jeff through his career and has inspired his service on the City Council.
After attending Washington State University, Jeff returned to his hometown to build his life and career. For over 11 years, Jeff worked as a licensed architect with Botesch, Nash, and Hall Architects, an established Everett-based firm. Over a decade ago, Jeff joined Everett Public Schools as Director of Construction, eventually working as Director of Finance, and now as Executive Director of Finance and Business Services.
Additionally, Jeff has long been involved with local non-profits such as the Rotary Club of Everett, Providence General Foundation, YMCA, and United Way.
In 2010, Jeff joined the Everett City Council and served as Council President in 2014 and 2015. He has served on a number of boards and committees, including the Joint Tulalip Water Board, Planning Commission, Board of Review, Cascade Highlands Annexation Committee, Washington State Association of School Business Officials, and Washingtom schools Local Funding Working Group, a team of state school associations informing legislative policy direction on the 2012 McCleary Supreme Court ruling.
Jeff lives in Silver Lake with his wife, Renee. They raised their children here in Everett and sent them to Everett Public Schools.
